🔼 Welcome! Women’s basketball head coach Kenny Brooks hired Kevin Konopasek as the director of strength and conditioning and athletic performance. Konopasek recently was the director of athletic performance at Indiana for 11 seasons. He helped lead the women’s basketball team to six postseason appearances, including five NCAA Tournament bids and the 2018 WNIT Championship.

Fine Nine. Athlon Sports named nine football players to either preseason All-America or All-SEC honors. Deone Walker and Barion Brown received second-team All-America and first-team All-SEC honors. Walker led the Cats with 12.5 tackles for loss last season. Brown had a nation-high three kickoff returns for touchdowns in 2023.
