🔼 Weekly Honor. The Southeastern Conference named Lamont Butler the Player of the Week. The guard has one of the all-time greatest performances in the history of Kentucky vs. Louisville matchups. He made all 10 of his field-goal attempts, including six from behind the arc, and had a career-high 33 points. This was the most points scored by a player in the rivalry game since 1989.

Best of the Best. Quarterback signee Stone Saunders was named the 2024 MaxPreps Pennsylvania High School Football Player of the Year. Saunders finished his career at Bishop McDevitt High School 52-6. He is the state’s all-time leader in passing yards (13,719), passing touchdowns (204) and completions (781).
