📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Gaining Dubs. The women’s soccer team won its second game of the season with a 2-0 win over Morehead State. Abigail Stager and Makala Woods scored for the Cats. The women played a strong first half with 13 shots and led the game with 25 shots to Morehead’s two.

🔼 Game Time. The men’s soccer team played its final exhibition game and will take on Oral Roberts on Thursday to start the season. Check out the calendar below to buy tickets.

Exhibition on the Way. The men’s basketball team announced a pair of exhibition contests for the 2024-25 season. They will play on Oct. 24 and Oct. 29 inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

In Line. Defensive tackle Deone Walker was named to the 2024 Lombardi Award Preseason Watch List. The award recognizes the most outstanding linemen who best epitomize their values of leadership, courage, performance and discipline on and off the field and who are consistently showing the values of strength, agility and football acumen in their respective positions. Walker led the Cats with 12.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 quarterback sacks and eight quarterback hurries last season.
