🔼 Big 10th Inning. The softball team beat #25 Louisville 12-8 in 10 innings on Wednesday. The Cats scored four runs in the 10th inning to seal the deal. Karissa Hamilton and Alexa Riddel each hit homers in the final inning. Kentucky had a program-record breaking 25 hits. Maddy Clark led the team with four hits. Four Cats had three hits each. Sarah Haendiges earned the win on the mound after pitching 3.2 innings and striking out five batters. She allowed only three hits and no runs.

🔼 Round 1. The men’s golf team played round one of the SEC Championship. Kentucky has a team score of 285 (+5). Jacob Lang led the Cats with a score even to par. He is in 45th place individually.

New Cat! The men’s basketball team signed Mason Williams. Williams will join the 2027 season. The 6’5” high school prospect is ranked No. 109 overall in the class of 2026 by 247Sports. During his senior campaign, Williams averaged 15.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals. He shot 60 percent from the field, 41 percent from 3-point range and 89 percent from the foul line. Williams is the son of new Kentucky assistant, Mo Williams, a 13-year NBA veteran who most recently served as the head coach at Jackson State.
