🔼 Advancing! The men’s basketball team beat Missouri 78-72 in the second round of the 2026 SEC Tournament. Otega Oweh scored 21 points. Denzel Aberdeen had 16 points. The Cats shot 78.3% from the free throw line. Kentucky will play against top-seeded Florida in the quarterfinals today at 1pm ET.

🔼 Finalist! Women’s basketball player Clara Strack was named a finalist for the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year award. This is the first time she has been named a top-five finalist for the award. She was also named to the USA Today All-America Second Team. Strack became the third fastest in program history to eclipse 1,000 points at UK (63 games, 1,030 points). She has 10 20+ point performances and two 30+ point performances this season (both of which 30+ point games were against SEC opponents). She also has 14 double-doubles this season and has 16 10+ rebound games this season.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Much Respect. Rifle athlete Martin Voss was honored with the prestigious Elite 90 Award for the 2026 NCAA Division I Rifle Championship. The award recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. Voss currently carries a perfect 4.0 GPA.
