Schedule Update. The men’s basketball team announced more games for the 2025 schedule! The Cats will host Nicholls State University, Valparaiso and Eastern Illinois in November as part of the BBN United Tipoff Classic presented by Kentucky Tourism. The three-game multi-team event completes the Wildcats’ regular-season schedule for 2025-26. Kentucky will host Nicholls on Nov. 4 in the season opener before facing Valparaiso on Nov. 7 and Eastern Illinois on Nov. 14. Game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date.
🔼 New Staff. The women’s basketball team added Jake Spencer as the Director of Creative Content to the staff. Spencer graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in digital media and design and integrated strategic communication in 2021. He has experience creating multimedia content, brand identities and user-centric digital products.

Welcome! The women’s basketball staff welcomes Taylor Soule to the program. Soule will be a program assistant. She was a former All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection at Virginia Tech under head coach Kenny Brooks. She was selected as the 28th overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft.
