Good Morning, Wildcats. The men’s basketball team beat No. 25 Vanderbilt 91-77 on Saturday. Collin Chandler scored a career-high 23 points. Otega Oweh also scored 23 points. Kentucky shot 58.8% from the field and 50% from deep.

🔼 Medals Won. The track and field team finished the SEC Championships. On Friday, the Cats won a gold medal, three SEC scorers, seven qualifiers and a season-high nine all-time top 10 marks. Kemarah Howard earned gold in the high jump. Her 1.87m mark is the UK freshman record and second-best mark in program history. On Saturday, the women finished in fourth place, the program’s highest placement since 2022. The men took 12th place. Emmi Scales and Theo Mudzengerere both earned gold medals.

🔼 Series Sweep! The No. 22 baseball team won its series against St. John’s. The Cats won 3-1 on Friday, 3-0 on Saturday and 3-1 on Sunday. Head coach Nick Mingione secured his 300th career victory. Jaxon Jelkin picked up the win on the mound on Friday after throwing a career-high 7.1 innings. Jayce Tharnish went 2-for-4 at the plate on Saturday. On Sunday, Caeden Cloud recorded the first multiple-hit game of his career.

🔼 Classic. The softball team hosted the John Cropp Classic this past weekend. The Cats beat Michigan State 10-2 in six innings and Dayton 5-1 on Friday. Kentucky then beat Michigan State 6-1 and Dayton 9-0 in six innings on Saturday. On Sunday, Maddy Anson hit her fifth home run of the season to walk off the game, beating Murray State 8-0 in six innings.

🔼 Invite Only. The stunt team competed in the Rattler Invitational this past weekend. The Cats had two wins on Saturday. The women beat St. Edward’s 24-0 and Texas A&M-Kingsville 26-2. Kentucky finished the weekend with two wins on Sunday. The program beat Texas A&M-Kingsville 24-0 and UC Davis 28-6.

🔼 Day 1. The No. 50 men’s golf team played 36 holes of the Colleton River Collegiate on Sunday. The men are in first place with a team score of 562 (-12). Jack Schoenberger is tied for first place individually with a score of 137 (-7).

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Season-High. The No. 23 gymnastics team faced No. 6 Georgia on Friday. The Cats posted their highest home score of the season.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Championships. The rifle team competed at the Great American Rifle Conference Championship. On Saturday, the team competed in the smallbore section. Braden Peiser earned the gold medal after posting a score of 597. On Sunday, the Cats competed in the air rifle section. Kentucky won the air rifle team championship to finish second overall. Liz Probst earned a bronze medal in air rifle.
