🔼 New Cat. The women’s basketball team signed Diana Collins to the 2026-27 roster. Collins is a 5’9” guard transferring from Alabama. In 84 games and 40 starts, she has combined for 517 points, 72 3s, 193 rebounds, 135 assists and 65 steals, while shooting over 41 percent from the field and 35 percent from the arc. She is coming off the best season of her college career, playing and starting all 35 games for the Crimson Tide in 2025-26.
🔼 More to Play. The men’s tennis team was selected to play in NCAA Tournament. This marks the team’s 33rd appearance. Kentucky will play at the Columbus Regional from May 1-2 at the Auer Tennis Complex at Ohio State University. The Cats will face California in the First Round on Friday at 10am ET.

🔼 Welcome! The men’s basketball team signed Zyon Hawthorne. Hawthorne is in incoming freshman who played at Huntington Prep last season. He is a 6’2” combo guard. Hawthorne averaged 11.2 points per game, 7.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds during his senior season and was a 1,000-point scorer in high school. Hawthorne averaged a double-double across three games while playing against some of the nation’s best at Big Shots Nationals, one of the elite prep tournaments in the country.
