🔼 New Cat! There’s a new men’s basketball player joining the 2026-27 roster. Alex Wilkins is a 6’5” guard who is transferring from Furman. He averaged 17.8 points and 4.7 assists per game last season. He had a career-high 34 points in the semifinal win over UNC Greensboro. The 34 points tied a Furman freshman single-game scoring record, and it was the most points scored for Furman in the SoCon Tournament since Roy Simpson had 36 vs. East Carolina in the 1972 championship game.

🔼 Round 2. The men’s golf team played round two of the SEC Championship. Kentucky had a team score of 575 (+15). Jacob Lang leads the Cats with a score of 141 (+1).

Mark the Calendar! The volleyball team released its 2026 SEC schedule. The Cats open conference play on Sept. 21. Kentucky will work toward a 10th-straight SEC regular-season championship. The SEC Tournament will start on Nov. 20 in Savannah, Georgia. The Cats also added to their schedule the Shriners Children’s Showdown at the Net SEC/ACC Challenge. The Cats will faced the North Carolina Tar Heels at Historic Memorial Coliseum on Sept. 9.
