🔼  Another Cat. The men’s basketball team welcomes Franck Kepnang to the 2026-27 roster! Kepnang is a 6’11” center from Yaoundé, Cameroon. Kepnang spent the last four seasons at Washington. He will have one year of eligibility remaining for the 2026-27 season. During the 2025-26 season, Kepnang started 25 games for the Huskies, averaging 6.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. He ranked third in the Big Ten conference in both total blocks (56) and blocks per game. He had nine games with three or more blocks, including three with six blocks.

🔼  Round 2. The No. 34 women’s golf team played round two of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. Kentucky has a team score of 591 (+15). C.A. Carter leads the team in 15th place individually. She has a score of 145 (+1). Karlie Campbell follows in 24th place.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

New Staff. The women’s soccer team hired Brenton Saylor as an assistant head coach for the 2026 season. Saylor has nearly 20 years of coaching experience. Saylor has experience coaching at the club, collegiate, and professional ranks, most recently serving as an assistant coach for the Chicago Stars of the NWSL. Saylor has six years of total NWSL experience, spending four seasons with the Houston Dash from 2018-2022 before spending 2024 and 2025 with the Stars. Saylor also served as an assistant coach for the United States U-15 and U-17 Youth National Teams, working with goalkeepers and helping the US to a 2022 U-15 CONCACAF championship.
