Record Setting: No. 2 Kentucky Set School Record with 21st SEC Win – UK Athletics

🔼 History Made. The baseball team just made history with its 21st SEC win in a season. The Cats broke the previous record of 20 SEC wins that was set back in 2006. Kentucky beat Vanderbilt 10-5, and Ryan Waldschmidt went 3-for-4 at the place with three runs, three RBIs, a double, a home run, a walk and a stolen base.
🔼 Season Finale. The men’s tennis team faced TCU in the NCAA quarterfinals and lost 0-4. The Cats finish with an overall record of 27-3 this season, which marks the fewest losses a season since 1970. Taha Baadi, Joshua Lapadat and JJ Mercer will continue their season at the Stillwater NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
How Many?! The NCAA Outdoor East First Rounds for track and field are taking place here in Lexington on May 22-25.
