2 Volleyball Weekly Honors

Eva Hudson was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week. She was responsible for 40 kills this week as Kentucky beat Mizzou and No. 19 Tennessee. Kassie O’Brien was named the Freshman of the Week. This marks her fourth time earning the award this season.

🔼 First Fall. The No. 9 men’s basketball team faced in-state rival No. 12 Louisville on Tuesday. The Cats had their first loss of the season, 96-88. Only two cats tallied double-digits. Collin Chandler and Otega Oweh each had 12 points. The men shot 47.1% from the field.

NCAA TOURNEY!!!! The women’s soccer team was selected to participate in the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship. The Cats will play No. 6 seed Louisville on Saturday at 2pm ET.

This is the second consecutive season and ## time in program history Kentucky has been selected.

National Recognition. Men’s basketball player Otega Oweh was named to The Sporting News’ preseason All-America First Team. Oweh was Kentucky’s leading scorer last season. Through the first two games of the 2025-26 season, he is averaging 14 points on 52.6% shooting.
