🔼 Big Win. The women’s basketball team beat Purdue 76-35 on Tuesday. Clara Strack led the team with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Obi also had 17 points with eight rebounds. The team shot 41.3% from the field. Kentucky held Purdue to only five points in the third quarter and four points in the fourth quarter.

🔼 Day 1. Two men’s tennis players are competing at the NCAA Singles Championships. Jack Loutit and Eli Stephenson recorded their first career victories at the championship event. They are the 31st and 32nd Cats in program history to qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship. Loutit, ranked No. 28 in the nation, advanced to the Round of 32 after beating his opponent from UNLV. Stephenson beat his opponent from Florida State to also advance to tomorrow’s competition.

🔼 Champions Classic. The No. 12 men’s basketball team played No. 17 Michigan State on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden in the Champions Classic. Otega Oweh led the team with 12 points. Mo Dioubate, Denzel Aberdeen and Collin Chandler each had 10 points. The Cats fell 83-66.

Mark the Calendar! The gymnastics team announced its 2026 schedule! The Cats host their home opener against Arizona State on Jan. 16. Postseason starts on March 21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The team will be featured on national broadcasts six times throughout the season.
