🔼 Finale Dub. The men’s soccer team beat Georgia State 7-4 in its regular-season finale. Scoring for the Cats were Martin Soereide, Logan Dorsey, Oliver Stavdal, Iker Carew and Austin Lopez. Dorsey scored three goals for his second-career hat trick. Goalkeeper Casper Mols had 12 saves in the 90 minutes.

🔼 Conference Honors. The Southeastern Conference named Ed Bird to the All-SEC Third Team and Collins Kiprop Kipngok to the All-SEC Freshman Team. Bird finished 18th place in the 2024 SEC Cross Country Championships last Friday. Kiprop Kipngok finished 24th.

Finalist. Senior outside linebacker J.J. Weaver has been named one of the three finalists for the 12th annual Freddie Solomon Community Spirit Award. The award celebrates athletes who embody the “Fabulous Freddie” Solomon’s legacy of giving back. Weaver has focused on mental health and children’s grief when giving back to the community.
