🔼 New Partner! The University of Kentucky and UK Athletics announced a multiyear partnership with Hoot App, Inc., a first-of-its-kind real-world social platform built on verified human presence™ and designed to transform how fans experience gameday together. Unlike traditional social platforms built around followers and algorithm-driven feeds, Hoot is designed to connect users attending the same events in real-time. Using location verification technology, Hoot activates “Canopies,” live, geofenced social spaces tied to stadiums, tailgates, campuses, and downtown districts. Through the app, Hoot users physically present within the Canopy can post, interact, and view live content shared by others who are there, creating a real-time feed built entirely around shared experiences.

🔼 Mark the Calendar! The women’s soccer team announced its 2026 schedule. There will be one exhibition match, seven non-conference matches and the return of the regular season matchup against Louisville for the first time since 2018. For the second year in a row, admission to all Kentucky soccer home matches at the Bell Soccer Complex will be free to the public. The Cats will begin the season in exhibition action on Saturday, August 8.

Watch Them! Three former men’s golf players are competing in the ISCO Championship. The event runs through Sunday at Hurstbourne Country Club. J.B. Holmes, Cooper Musselman and Jansen Preston are representing Kentucky.

They are competing for a $# million purse and 300 FedExCup points.

🔼 Scholar Cats. The swim and dive team had 20 Cats named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-Americans. Along with the individuals, both the men and women’s squad were honored with the team nod as well. The women’s team earned a 3.680 GPA and the men’s team notched a 3.423 in the spring 2026 semester, which is one of the many academic nods for the swimming & diving program this past season.
