🔼 Clinched! The softball team beat Eastern Kentucky 5-1 and clinched NCAA Tournament eligibility. Sarah Haendiges picked up her 10th win of the season in the circle. Cassie Reasner was the key player of the game. She went 2-for-4 at the player with a run scored and two terrific plays defensively at shortstop.

🔼 Championship. The men’s golf team played round one of the SEC Championship. The team is tied for 10th place with a score of 281 (+1). Jansen Preston leads the Cats with an individual score of 68 (-2) to tie for 14th.

🔼 Mound Man. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named Nic McCay the Co-National Pitcher of the Week. McCay threw a season-high 12 strikeouts in Kentucky’s win over No. 2 Tennessee. This is the most by a UK pitcher since 2023.

Welcome! The men’s basketball team welcomes Denzel Aberdeen to its 2025-26 roster. Aberdeen played his last three seasons at Florida. He is a 6’5” guard. He played in all 39 games for the Gators in 2024-25. In his five starts, Aberdeen averaged 14.4 points and shot 41.4% from the three-point range.
