Four Football Awards

Four football players were named to the AP All-SEC Team. Barion Brown and Alex Raynor were named to the First Team. Deone Walker and Maxwell Hairston were named to the Second Team.

🔼 Welcome! The football team welcomes L’Damian Washington as the new assistant/wide receivers coach. Washington recently spent two seasons as the wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at USF. He previously coached at Oklahoma, Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Missouri.

🔼 Votes Are In. The American Volleyball Coaches’ Association named Brooklyn DeLeye and Emma Grome 2024 All-Americans. DeLeye earned a spot on the First Team. She was also named a finalist for the AVCA National Player of the Year. Grome was named to the Second Team.

Anotha’ One. Men’s basketball player Lamont Butler earned another award after scoring a career-high 33 points against Louisville.

Kentucky Represent. Kentucky football signee Montavin Quisenberry was named Mr. Football by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association. He also won the Paul Hornung Award from the Louisville Quarterback Club and the Gatorade Player of the Year.
