🔼  Off to Paris. Kentucky volleyball alumna Avery Skinner was selected to the 2024 United States volleyball team! Skinner is the first ever Kentucky volleyball player to compete in the Olympics. She was a Wildcat from 2017-21. She will be joined by eight players who won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

🔼 Championship Complete. Former Kentucky track and field high jumper Ellen Ekholm competed in her first European Championships. She represented Team Sweden and finished in fourteenth place with a height of 1.81m.

Olympics Bound. Former Kentucky women’s basketball player Rhyne Howard has been named to the 2024 USA Basketball 3×3 Women’s National Team. The 3×3 game is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock and a 12-second shot clock. Howard is a two-time WNBA All-Star and was Rookie of the Year in 2022. She is currently in her third season with the Atlanta Dream.
