Good morning. Well, the Cats made it happen, an undefeated September! And Ray Davis was the man to make it happen after having a career-high game. Read about his performance against the Gators below.

What else are we mixing into today’s Brew?

🔵 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ray Day. Career high alert! Ray Davis rushed for 280 yards, which is the third-highest in UK history, and his four touchdowns tied for the most in Kentucky school history. Davis carried the ball 26 times and had three rushing touchdowns and one receiving. The Wildcats beat No. 22 Florida 33-14.

Trevin Wallace started the big plays of the game when he intercepted Graham Mertz's throw and returned it to the Florida 15, where Devin Leary connected with Davis on a nine-yard touchdown pass. Davis then went 75 yards down to the end zone and three yards for touchdowns number two and three of the game. The fourth touchdown, no surprise, came from Davis’ two-yard rush.

🔼 Keep it Coming. The softball team is undefeated so far this season with back-to-back shutouts. The Wildcats shut down Lipscomb 18-0. The team got three runs in the first and heated up in the second inning with six runs. Rylea Smith got a 2-RBI triple, Jaden Vickers had an RBI single, and Karissa Hamilton hit a three-run bomb.

🔼 Two Down. Volleyball had a winning weekend against two top-25-ranked teams. First, the team took down Georgia 3-2 on Friday. Next, the Wildcats beat Alabama 3-1. Brooklyn DeLeye led the team with 25 kills against Alabama, and Megan Wilson had 20. This is the first time this season that two UK players have netted 20+ kills in the same match. Overall, the team had 66 kills over Alabama's 36 kills. Coming up, the team takes on Missouri on Friday.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Quintuple. Kentucky just kept running, and running, and running, and run… well you get it. Football had almost five times the amount of rushing yards compared to the Gators in Saturday’s game.

Today’s question— how many total rushing yards did Kentucky have?

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Three in a Row. Three men’s golfers competed in the Indy at Forest Hills, and they all finished one behind the other in the top five. Redshirt freshman Oakley Gee and sophomore Kevin Watts tied for third, hitting +1 overall in the two-round event. Sophomore Andrew Clark finished fifth, hitting +2 overall. The team starts a new event today through Wednesday at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
