🔼 Saturday Night Stunner. We’re just 39 days from kickoff, which means we’re channeling in on the number 39. On a warm September night in 2007, the ‘Cats were losing to in-state rival Louisville, 33-34. The clock had 39 seconds remaining when Andrew Woodson dropped back and threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Steve Johnson, and the rest was history. This win was the Wildcats’ first against a top-10 team in three decades. Woodson ended the game with four touchdowns after going 30-for-44 for 275 yards. The Wildcats will kickoff at home at noon on September 2 against Ball State.

🔼 Ring Of Honor. Three Wildcats were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Honors Court for the 2022-2023 season. Brennan Canada, CJ Fredrick, and Oscar Tshiebwe received the academic honors for Kentucky. Junior, senior, or graduate student-athletes must finish the 2022-2023 season with a 3.2 GPA or higher to receive the honor. These three players were also on the SEC' Winter Academic Honor Roll.
