Good morning. The basketball games are about to get a whole lot prettier with a new court inside Rupp Arena. Here’s a sneak peek at what it’s expected to look like.

📈 STOCK UP 

🔼 Road Rally. The volleyball team is coming back home after going 4-0 on the road, with its most recent win being a 3-0 sweep over No. 24 Auburn. Their win streak now? That would be 11 straight matches. Reagan Rutherford had 14 kills, and Brooklyn DeLeye had 12. The Wildcats put up their best kill-to-error ratio of the year, with 42 kills and only seven attack errors. The women are back at home for four matches, which start this Sunday.

🔼 Shootin’ Her Shot. Kentucky rifle just got one of the nation’s best junior shooters, and her name is Elizabeth Probst. All the way from Texas, Probst signed her National Letter of Intent to start competing in fall 2024. Recently, she earned gold at the USA Shooting’s 2023 National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships in women’s smallbore out of the 118 athletes in the competition.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Pull Through. The women’s basketball team had a strong 7-0 run in the last quarter to beat ETSU the other night. There were a handful of players that helped us take the dub, and that shot in the double digits.

Plus Two. We’ve got two more names you will have to know for the 2024-2025 golf season— Jacob Lang and Jacob Settles. Lang brings excellent talent after being named 2023 Kentucky Mr. Golf, 2023 Kentucky High School All-State, and a 2022 AJGA Greenwood Junior champion, along with many other notables. Settles was the 2023 AJGA Memorial Junior champion and the 2023 Kentucky Junior PGA Championship champion, along with being named 2023 First Team All-State.
