🔼 Watch Them! The football team had two players make it on watch lists. Lance Heard was named to the Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List. The award recognizes the nation’s top interior lineman. Heard is an offensive lineman transfer who played at Tennessee last season. Coleton Price was named to The Rimington Trophy Preseason Watch List. The award is for the nation’s top center. He recently played three seasons at Baylor before transferring to Kentucky this offseason.
🔼 Date Set. The women’s basketball team will face Virginia in the Sprouts Farmer’s Market espnW Invitational. The game is on Sunday, Dec. 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. This marks the third time the Cats and Cavaliers will face each other in program history. The Cats lead the series 2-0. The tip-off times and ESPN network designations will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Congrats! Two former Kentucky Wildcats were named to the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Brandon Webb played baseball for three years at Kentucky, and was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2000. He spent 2003-08 as a right-handed pitcher in the MLB. Rajon Rondo played basketball at UK from 2004-06. He went on to have a 16-year NBA career that included two NBA championships.
