🔼 Seal The Deal. Today, we’re looking back at Jordan Lovett’s favorite play — his game winning interception to seal the deal against Louisville last season. He had seven tackles in Kentucky’s 26-13 rivalry win. Kentucky and Louisville will meet again for the annual matchup on November 25 for the regular season finale.
🔼 Class In Session. The Kentucky baseball team was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association with the Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2022-2023 season. Kentucky is the only school in the SEC to have earned the award in each of the last six years. There were 36 Wildcat student-athletes on the SEC’s First-Year Honor Roll or Honor Roll.
🔼 Hiring Season. We’re welcoming newest Wildcat track & field assistant coach, Darryl Anderson! He has 18 years of experience as a DI head coach at TCU, where he coached 13 individual national champions, 29 Big 12 Champions, and 104 All-America selections. He was on Kentucky’s staff from 1989-1996 before becoming an assistant at Arizona State. He mentored Olympic medalists and Kentucky greats Tim Harden, Dwight Phillips, and Passion Richardson. We are happy to have Coach Anderson back in Lexington!

🔵 ONE BIG THING
Members of the Lexington Fire Department and the American Heart Association came out to teach Kentucky football hands-only CPR. Four of those fire fighters were former Wildcat players Paul Warford, Durrell White, DJ Warren, and Mike Kamphake. We’re so proud of our UK football alumni for serving the community!
