🔼 Quad Squad. The Southeastern Conference honored four Wildcats with post-season accolades. Antonio Reeves got a spot on the First Team. Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham got spots on the Second Team and All-Freshman team. Sheppard was also honored Freshman of the Year, and Dillingham earned Sixth Man of the Year. D.J. Wagner made it on the All-Freshman team.

🔼 In High Gear. The Kentucky baseball team had its second-largest comeback of Coach Nick Mingione’s eight-year tenure. The Cats beat Murray Stat 10-6 after being down 6-0 in the third inning. Nick Lopez had five hits. He is the first player since 2022 and the third player in Mingione’s tenure to do so. Ryan Nicholson hit a 422-foot home run.

Fast Five. The track and field team had a great run to its indoor season. The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association honored five Cats with awards based on their NCAA Indoor Championship performances.

Charity Hufnagel: Second-Team for the pentathlon and high jump.
Luke Brown: First-Team All-America for the triple jump
Keaton Daniel: First-Team All-America for the pole vault.
Kennedy Lightner: Second-Team for the 200m
Dennis Ohene-Adu: Second-Team for the weight throw.
