🔼 Midweek Win. The No. 21 baseball team beat Ball State 10-3 on Tuesday. The Cats have now scored 10 or more runs five times in the past six games. Ryan Schwartz went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs, a stolen base and a double. Jayce Tharnish had two hits and two RBIs. Oliver Boone earned his first win in blue after missing the 2025 season due to injury. He allowed one run in two innings.

🔼 Ticket Punched! The swim and dive team has another Cat advancing to the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship! Kristy Pfaff punched her ticket to the 3-meter dive event at the NCAA Women’s Championship next week. This marks her first ever NCAA appearance. She finished with a score of 583.30.

Weekly Honor. Baseball player Ethan Hindle was named the co-Player of the Week by the Southeastern Conference.

Hindle hit # home runs in five games this past week.

Finalist! Women’s basketball player Tonie Morgan was named a Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Finalist. This is the second straight year the University of Kentucky women’s basketball program and head coach Kenny Brooks have produced a top-five point guard. Morgan leads the nation in total assists. In 33 games, she is averaging 13.8 points per game, 8.15 assists per game, 3.1 rebounds per game and 0.9 steals per game. She is the only player in the nation – and has been for most of the season – averaging at least 13.8 ppg and 8.15 apg.
