🔼 Great Start. The No. 3 volleyball team started the 2026 season this past weekend. The Cats swept Utah State 3-0 in the home opener on Friday night. Brooklyn DeLeye led the team with 16 kills. The team went the first 66 points of the match siding out at a 100 percent clip. Kentucky secured another sweep on Saturday against South Florida. The 3-0 victory marked the 500th career win for head coach Craig Skinner. He has won more matches than any head coach in program history. DeLeye had 12 kills and Lizzie Carr had 10.
🔼 High Scoring. The women’s soccer team scored the most goals in a game since 1992. The Cats beat Wright State 9-1 on Sunday, scoring five times in just the first 22 minutes. Freshman Kyla Dawn recorded a hat trick. Nadia Ramadan scored twice. Juliette Rayo, Elkie Bowyer, McKenzie Godfrey and Dani Chaump all scored once. The Cats had a total of 23 shots. Goalkeeper Megan Holland had one save.
Season Begins Today. The men’s golf season starts today! The Cats are competing at the Visit Knox Collegiate.

🔼 Mark the Calendar! The women’s basketball team released the 2026-27 non-conference schedule. The Cats will face five 2026 NCAA Tournament Teams, the WNIT champions and have two national TV showcases. The tip times and TV designations will be announced soon.
