📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Men's Soccer on a Roll. Senior night and another upset win? What a night for men’s soccer! The team took on undefeated No. 2 West Virginia this past weekend and won 1-0, giving them two-straight wins over top-2 opponents, having won at top-ranked Marshall last week. The lone goal was scored by freshman Alfred Baafi in the first half. Goalie Casper Mols had eight saves in the match for his second consecutive shutout.

🔼 Another Three. The women’s soccer team finished up its regular season this weekend and tabbed three more SEC Honors. Jordyn Rhodes was named First-Team for the second time in her collegiate career. She’s scored nine goals this year, and broke UK's all-time leading goals record earlier this year. Grace Phillpotts was named Second Team, and she had four assists and helped defend the back line. Tanner Strickland was named All-Freshman. She led the team with five assists and had one goal.

The Wildcats also competed in their first game of the SEC Tournament against LSU and went in to two 10-minute overtime periods scoreless. The women went into a penalty shootout, and four of the five Wildcat shooters found the back of the net to win 4-2 in PK’s. This is the first SEC Tournament win since 2014.

🔼 Road Volleyball Victory. The Wildcats took on the LSU Tigers and shut them out 3-0 for their eighth straight win of the season. Reagan Rutherford and Brooklyn DeLeye each had 11 kills to advance the team to an 11-7 standing overall and 9-1 standing in conference play. One big thing throughout the season is that Eleanor Beavin has hit double digits in 17 straight matches. Watch the team take to the road on Friday to snag more dubs.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Amazing Race. The volleyball team has been on a roll with eight straight dubs. The team is tied for first in the SEC against one other school.

Today’s question— what school is Kentucky volleyball looking to kick out of this first-place tie?

🔵 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Voting Time. Kentucky men’s basketball now has four athletes on watch lists, with Aaron Bradshaw being the newest. Bradshaw is on the 2024 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar preseason watch list for being one of the best centers in college basketball. He is one of 20 candidates to be selected, and the final five will be announced in February. Bradshaw well deserves to be on the list with all of the rankings he’s had before even coming into college, like being No. 2 in the 2023 class.
