🔼 Stay Golden. Kentucky completed its dominant run in the GLOBL Jam tournament—topping home side Team Canada by a score of 89-72 to claim the gold medal in the second year of the event. Kentucky won all four of its games by an average of 15 points per contest, and freshman Justin Edwards led Kentucky in scoring in the gold medal game, pouring in 23 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

Tre Mitchell contributed a double-double of his own with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Cats, tournament MVP Antonio Reeves also scored 18 for Kentucky, and fellow freshman D.J. Wagner finished with 13 points and six assists for Kentucky.
