🔼 Easy Connections. Kentucky grabbed another win, making them 3-0 so far this season after a 35-3 win against Akron. Quarterback Devin Leary passed for 315 yards and connected with Josh Kattus, Tayvion Robinson, and Ray Davis for touchdowns. The last two touchdowns of the game were rushed in 55 yards by Davis and four yards by Demie Sumo-Karngbaye.

The play of the game definitely goes to Leary making a last-second pass to Davis while being under pressure and Davis making a 58-yard dash to the end zone. The Wildcats play Vanderbilt next on Saturday, Sept. 23 at noon ET.

🔼 Exhibition Executed. What a first game for Kentucky softball, ending with a walk-off grand slam. The Wildcats faced Eastern Kentucky for 10 innings, and many big things happened. Erin Coffel crushed a ball over the scoreboard in the first inning. Alexia Lacatena threw a perfect inning on just nine pitches. Karissa Hamilton hit a walk-off grand slam to win the game 7-3.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Take it Long. In Saturday’s football game against Akron, Kentucky had a total of 315 receiving yards. Ray Davis’ longest was 58 yards, but one athlete sat right above him with a long of 59 yards.

Early Madness. Why wait for March Madness when you can attend Big Blue Madness on Oct. 13? The annual tipoff to the men’s and women’s basketball seasons will be in Rupp Arena at 7 p.m., and tickets are up for grabs on Friday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. ET.
