🔼 Watch Her. Women’s basketball player Clara Strack was named to the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watch List. Strack is one of 25 players to be selected. Through 22 games in the 2025-26 season, she is averaging 15.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.86 assists, 2.86 blocks and 1.36 steals per game. She is the only player in the nation with at least 15.0 ppg, 10.0 rpm and 2.5 bpg.

Academic Honors. Football defensive back Ty Bryant was named a College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American. He is the first Wildcat to be named to the team since 2022. Bryant boasts a 3.77 GPA with a major in communications. On the field in 2025, he paced the team with 76 tackles and led the league with four interceptions.
