📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Tourney Dubs. The men’s tennis team is off to an amazing start in the NCAA Tournament. They beat DePaul 4-0 in round one and Illinois 4-3 in round two. The Cats won the doubles point against DePaul and three singles matches. The men had a tough competition against Illinois, having to come back and win four singles matches after losing the doubles point. Kentucky is headed to the Super Regionals to face No. 12 Harvard. Dates and times will be released soon.

🔼 Series Win. The baseball team won its series over No. 2 Arkansas 2-1. The Cats dropped game one 3-10 but came back and won 11-3 and 7-4. Emilien Pitre hit a pair of doubles and drove in four runs in game two. He and Nick Lopez went 2-4 in game three with a home run and two RBIs. Mason Moore won game three on the mound, pitching five innings and striking out six batters.

🔼 Regular Season Finale. The softball team played its last regular season series against Tennessee and lost 8-3, 8-3, and 8-7. The Cats move on to play in the SEC Tournament starting on May 7 against Ole Miss at 7 p.m. ET. Overall, the women end the regular season 30-21 and 8-16 in conference play.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Match Clincher. The men’s tennis team was tied 3-3 when it all came down to one athlete winning a singles match to clinch the win.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

New Girl. The women’s basketball team has a new guard on the 2024-25 roster. Jordan Obi is a 6’1” guard who recently played at Penn. She has played in 83 games at Penn from 2021-24, where she averaged 13.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 blocks and .9 steals per game. Just last season, she scored in double digits in 22 of her 28 games, with six of them being double-doubles.
