📈 STOCK UP 

🔼 First Dub. The Wildcats just put a W in the books for this season with a 40-point win over New Mexico State. The men beat the Aggies 86-46 and shot a 49% field goal. Rob Dillingham led the team with 17 points and went 3-3 in free throws. Four other players hit double digits in points, and Tre Mitchell led in rebounds with nine total. Come back to Rupp Arena on Friday to see the boys take on Texas A&M-Commerce.

🔼 Victory Talk. Head coach Mark Stoops was excited about the Wildcat win over Mississippi last weekend, but the team still has some ahead this week. In his press conference, Stoops said he wants the team to work on its physicality against Alabama this weekend. He was impressed by how Devin Leary managed under pressure and pulled out some good plays.

Watch Him Now. Preseason has now begun for men’s basketball but right before last night’s game, Justin Edwards was named to the Naismith Trophy Men’s Player of the Year award. The freshman was also on the All-Southeastern Conference preseason first-team list and the Julius Erving Award watch list.
