🔼 Extra Support. Men’s basketball head coach Mark Pope added Nick Robinson and Randy Towner to the coaching staff. Robinson will be the director of operations, and Towner will be the head strength coach. Robinson was recently the assistant coach at BYU from 2019-24, at Seattle from 2017-19 and the head coach at Southern Utah from 2012-16.

Towner has experience working in collegiate and professional basketball. He recently worked with the Milwaukee Bucks organization from 2022-24. Towner was involved with many colleges in his career— UTSA, Utah, UAB and Utah Valley.

It’s Back! The American Volleyball Coaches’ Association First Serve Showcase is returning in 2024, and Kentucky will be there! The Cats will compete against Nebraska to kick off the showcase on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. ET. The event will be in Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. ET.
