🔼 Handful of Greatness. The volleyball team has been picked by the Southeastern Conference head coaches to win the league for a 10th season in a row! Kentucky received nine first-place votes, three more than Texas’ six and Texas A&M garnered one. Five players were named to the All-SEC Preseason Team: Lizzie Carr, Brooklyn DeLeye, Morgan Gaerte, Kassie O’Brien and Molly Tuozzo. Single-match tickets are on sale for the season. Get them here!

Schedule Set. The rifle team released its 2026-27 schedule. The season begins on Oct. 3 against Georgia Southern. The NCAA Qualifier is set for Feb. 20.

🔼 Promoted. The football team hired Pete Nochta as the general manager. Nochta joined the staff as assistant general manager in January. He will oversee the Wildcats’ personnel operation, including player evaluation, recruiting strategy and roster management. Before coming to Kentucky, Nochta spent 10 seasons at Louisville. Four of those seasons were spent as the director of recruiting for the football team.
