🔼 Cats Conquer. The battle between young and experienced ended in a big Wildcat win. Kentucky freshman ruled the court to beat No. 9 North Carolina 87-83. Our last eight points, and 18 of our last 20, were scored by freshmen. Rob Dillingham led the team with 17 points, D.J. Wagner had 14, and Aaron Bradshaw had 12. The freshman totaled 62 of UK’s 87 points.

🔼 Early Present. The women’s basketball team had a merry and bright holiday game against Furman. The Cats won 75-45, with Saniya Taylor leading the team with a career-high 17 points. She also went 3-3 from behind the arc. Cassidy Rowe also hit a career-high seven points and five rebounds. Ajae Petty added 16 points, and Maddie Scherr had 13.
As a team, the Cats made five new season-high stats. The women had a 54.5 FG%, 30 bench points, 20 assists, 12 steals and forced 25 turnovers.
🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA
Hello Again. Before Devin Leary came to Kentucky, he played at North Carolina State. There, Leary had faced Clemson a couple of times. Leary is ready to face the old rival, now as a Wildcat, in the Gator Bowl.

Big Screen Ready. The gymnastics team will be featured on the big screen this season! The ESPN Family of Networks will show six of Kentucky’s meets in the 2023 regular season. Two home meets— Jan. 26 and March 3— will be televised. Four road meets— Jan. 12, Jan. 19, Feb. 2, Feb. 23— will also be televised.
