🔼 Day 1. The track and field team started competition at the SEC Championships. The Cats combined for a bronze medal, a freshman record and five top 10 program marks. Annie Murphy claimed the first medal of the meet, and the first of her career, in the women’s pole vault. Ann Lemirisho broke the Kentucky women's 5000m freshman record.

🔼 Anotha’ Dub. The women’s basketball team beat Auburn 63-56 on Thursday. Amelia Hassett scored 15 points. Clara Strack followed with 12 points. The team shot 46.2% from the field. The Cats are now 21-8 overall and 8-7 in conference play.

🔼 Served. Women’s basketball player Tonie Morgan was selected to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team. The point guard signed up for just about every community service opportunity put in front of her this season. The Wildcat gifted five local athletes $100 gift cards to Academy Sports to ease the burden of equipment expenses. She also donated $500 worth of winter coats to families in need, while she also donated to The Alexus House, a cause close to her heart.
