🔼 Up, Up, Up. The women’s basketball team moved up three spots in the AP Poll. The Cats are now ranked No. 12.

🔼 Excelling. Women’s golfer Laney Frye earned her LPGA card through the Epson Tour. She just improved her LPGA status through the LPGA’s Qualifying Series. She tied for seventh place out of 111 players in the final stage. Overall, she concluded her first season on the Epson Tour in 15th place in the Race for the Card rankings. She now has a spot for the LPGA Tour membership in 2026 and improved from a Category 16 to 15.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Regional Honors. The men’s soccer team had four players earn All-Southeast Region Team honors. Marqes Muir earned a spot on the First Team. Sebastian Conlon, Agustin Lopez and Alex Ruiz were named to the Second Team. Muir was ranked No. 23 on the TopDrawerSoccer Midseason Top 100 list. Conlon started all 19 matches, recorded 56 saves and allowed only 18 goals. Lopez had four goals and two assists in 14 matches. Ruiz scored a team-high seven goals, four assists and 18 points.
