The women's basketball team plays in round two of the NCAA Tournament tonight.

🔼 The Journey. The men’s basketball team beat Santa Clara 89-84 in overtime in round one of the NCAA Tournament. Otega Oweh scored a career-high 35 points. He shot a 40-foot shot that banked in and tied the game at 73. The men advanced to play Iowa State on Sunday and fell 83-62. Denzel Aberdeen led the team with 20 points.
🔼 First Dub. The women's basketball team beat James Madison 71-56 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tonie Morgan led the Cats with 18 points. Amelia Hassett followed with 14 points while hitting four three-point shots. The women advanced to round two today. They will face West Virginia at 5pm ET.
🔼 SEC Championships. The No. 19 gymnastics team wrapped up conference play at the SEC Championships. The Cats finished in fourth place with a score of 196.925. Kentucky scored at least a 49.175 on all four events, improved its National Qualifying Score to a 196.550, and finished higher than its conference seed. Four Wildcats finished inside the top four on their respective events during the session, good enough for an All-SEC position. The Cats will find out today at noon if they will compete in the NCAA Championships.
🔼 Wrapped Up. The men’s golf team finished competition at the Linger Longer Invitational. The Cats placed seventh with a score of 861 (-3). Cole Stockard led the team in 27th place individually.
🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA
Season Finale. The women’s swim and dive team wrapped up the NCAA Championships. Kristy Pfaff competed one last time on the 3-meter boards.
She scored a 267.30 on 3-meter boards for the ## best in the country.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
Outdoors. The track and field team opened its outdoor season at the Black and Gold Challenge. The Cats totaled three event wins and three top 10 program marks on day one. Kentucky finished the meet with four more event wins and seven more top 10 program marks on day two.
