🔼 Next Up. The No. 34 women’s golf team was in seventh place after round two of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. In the third round, the Cats shot nine under par to clinch fifth place and advance to the NCAA Championships. The Championships are in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 22-27. Kentucky had a final score of 870 (+6). C.A. Carter led the team tied for third place individually. She shot seven under par in round three, bringing her final score to 210 (-6). Raleygh Simpson followed in 13th place. All of the Cats finished in the top 45 individually.
The Cawood Ledford Post-Grad Program. Cawood Ledford, the “Voice of the Wildcats” for 39 years, was a staple of the University of Kentucky. The decorated 22-time Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year and 1994 National Basketball Hall of Fame inductee’s legacy lives on not only athletically, but academically as well.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
Kentucky Represent. There are three Wildcats who are going to represent Kentucky at NASA this summer. Elisa Boozer and Lily DeLong were selected for the Launch Services Program. Devynn Bishop was selected for the Student-Airborne Research Program. The LSP will take place May 11-15 at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The short experience offers students opportunities in the fields of business, finance, education, outreach, public affairs, and engineering.
