🔼 Cat Dub. The Wildcats beat the Georgia Bulldogs 78-64. Clara Strack led the team with 25 points and had 12 rebounds. Amelia Hassett also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Georgia Amoore went double-digits in scoring again, contributing 24 points in the win.

🔼 Double Meet Weekend. The track & field team competed in the Corky Classic and Vanderbilt Invite this past weekend. On day one, Kate Powers set a new school record in the weight throw with a distance of 22.63m. Janet Jepkemboi Amino finished first in the women’s 1000m with a time of 2:43.23. She is No. 3 in the UK all-time record book. On day two, Carlie Makarawu won the 200m at the Corky Classic and set a new national lead in the event with a time of 20.48.

🔼 Home Dubs. The No. 8 gymnastics team beat No. 3 Alabama in Historic Memorial Coliseum’s soft opening. The Cats won 197.300-196.100. Kentucky scored higher than 49.275 on each event. They did best in beam with a 49.400 score.

🔼 Spring Opener Wins. The women’s tennis team opened the spring season with 6-1 wins over East Tennessee State and Murray State. The Cats had three doubles wins and five singles wins over ETSU. The women had two doubles wins and five singles wins over Murray State.

🔼 Swimming Sweep. The men’s and women’s swim and dive teams beat Cincinnati 164-136 and 179-116. Gavin Hang and Kristy Pfaff made it into the all-time record book with their diving results. Hang is No. 8 in the 3-meter dive with a score of 390.45. Pfaff is No. 9 in the 1-meter dive with a score of 309.75.

🔼 Highest Score. The rife team beat Murray at the Winthrow Open 4731-4725. This is the highest team score ever posted at the Winthrow Open. Braden Peiser led the smallbore event with a score of 592 and had 40 centers. He also led in air rifle with a score of 597 and had 57 centers.
