🔼 New QB. The football team has a new quarterback on the roster for the 2024 season. Gavin Wimsatt is a transfer from Rutgers University who will have two seasons of eligibility. He is 6’3” and 225 lbs. Wimsatt is an Owensboro, Kentucky, native who threw 5,304 passing yards and 62 passing touchdowns at Owensboro High School. In 2023, Wimsatt passed for 1,735 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 starts at Rutgers.

🔼 Final Round. The women’s golf team played the third round at the NCAA East Lansing Regional for its last event of the season. The team finished in eighth place overall with a score of 884 (+20). Laney Frye led the Cats tied in 20th place with a score of 219 (+3).

Mark Your Calendars. The volleyball team just released its 2024 Southeastern Conference schedule! The women will be playing new SEC members Texas and Oklahoma. The SEC schedule is a single round-robin plus two, where every team will play a 16-match league schedule with each team playing each other at least once and getting two teams twice.
