🔼 Conference Dub. The women’s soccer team opened the SEC season with a 3-2 win over Texas A&M. Juliette Rayo, Kendall Campbell and Sydney Arednarczyk each scored. The Cats had 11 shots and five shots on goal. Goalkeeper Megan Holland had four saves.
🔼 Tourney Time. The No. 3 volleyball team competed in the Paradise Invitational this past weekend. The Cats fell to No. 8 SMU 3-1 on Saturday. Morgan Gaerte led the team with 17 kills. Kentucky ended on a high note with a 3-0 win over Houston. Gaerte led the team with nine kills. Lizzie Carr followed with eight.

Ranked Game. The football team took on No. 12 Alabama on Saturday. The Cats fell 45-17.

🔼 Top 3. The cross country team opened its season at the Tennessee Invitational. The men finished in third place with 48 points in the men’s 4-mile race. The women finished in second place with 40 points in the 3-mile race. Collins Kiprop Kipngok led the men with a time of 19:14.45, finishing in second place. Ann Lemirisho took first place for the women with a time of 15:54.7.
